Sister act brings out sweet music

Most people reading this are acquainted with Janice Kapp Perry, the LDS songwriter.

Fewer know Ann Kapp Andersen — her sister — a gifted musician in her own right.

One reason Ann has been under the radar for so long is she's been out of the loop. She lived in Alaska 26 years, where she got a master's degree in conducting from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, then went on to write music for various productions there and here. After Alaska, she and her husband, Thayne, spent another seven years in Europe.
