We are very excited to introduce the refreshed and recommitted Deseret First Credit Union. In addition to subtle changes to our visual identity, we’ve updated our messaging to more clearly identify who we serve and why we do what we do.

WHY THE UPDATE?

As a credit union, Deseret First was created to serve a unique field of membership. Though seemingly small, these changes signal our desire to better serve our members and emphasize our alignment in faith. Ultimately, we understand that members and employees of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have unique goals and challenges and we want to provide them with the best financial support and services.

WHAT CHANGES WILL WE SEE?

• For starters, you may have noticed a few changes to our look. It was important to us to maintain the legacy elements of our logo but also make a few modern adjustments. We think this is symbolic of our commitment to our values as well as our dedication to adapting to new technologies and services. The new logo will be used in digital applications right away, such as the website, and you’ll notice the transition to this logo in other places (mobile app, statements, checks and card designs, etc.) over the next few months.

• “You know why. We show how.” There’s so much meaning behind the new DFCU slogan and we’d love for you to learn more about it.

• We embrace the shared values of our members while celebrating diversity of experiences and perspectives. You’ll start seeing stories of actual DFCU members in various advertising channels.

We aren’t changing technical systems, we aren’t pivoting our financial philosophy, and we aren’t abandoning who we are at our core. We’re simply recommitting ourselves to member financial security and the freedom to pursue their personal “why”, no matter what that might be.

You know why. We show how.
