Simple enough? Maybe so.

If you answered "Catholic," "Mormon," "Friday," "Martin Luther" and "Quran," you're batting 1.000 — having correctly answered five of the religious-knowledge questions in the Pew Research Center's recent survey of religious knowledge.

On the average, Americans correctly answered only half of the 32 questions on the full survey conducted by Pew's Forum on Religion and Public Life.
