What verses of scripture do the prophets and Church leaders reference the most? This list gives us incredible insights into what we should be focusing on as members of the Church.

To prepare for general conference, UtahValley360.com looked at the general conference sessions since President Thomas S. Monson became the president of the LDS Church, April 2008 – April 2017. Notating each verse by how many times it has been used, this is the most-reference verse of each session of conference.

April 2017

Moses 1:39 – “For behold, this is my work and my glory—to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.”

October 2016

2 Nephi 31:19 – “And now, my beloved brethren, after ye have gotten into this strait and narrow path, I would ask if all is done? Behold, I say unto you, Nay; for ye have not come thus far save it were by the word of Christ with unshaken faith in him, relying wholly upon the merits of him who is mighty to save.”

April 2016
