Once a year, I get the chance to go away by myself to speak at a church conference for teenagers. The novelty still hasn’t worn off. Rarely do I get on an airplane without a bag of toys, drive a rental car without a car seat in the back, eat at a restaurant without ordering a kids’ meal, or stay in a hotel and sleep whenever I want!
It sounds like heaven, doesn’t it?
