Two sister missionaries serving in South Korea are inspiring thousands with a beautiful song they wrote about mental health and suicide.

Sitting in a church building with nothing but a piano and their voices, Sister Leah Merrill and Sister Alice Soung share a powerful message that life is worth living and no one should feel unwanted or unloved. Their sweet spirits testify of God’s love for each of His children.

Sister Merrill shared in a Facebook post, “We know the topic of suicide and depression/anxiety is hard to talk about… ESPECIALLY if you’re someone struggling with those feelings.”

She proceeds to talk about how serving a mission has helped her realize that Christ brings light to life, and “light truly does always overcome darkness.”

Sister Merrill and Sister Soung end their message saying, “[It’s] our hope that someone out there who may seem lost and can’t find any hope sees this song and finds comfort to know there are [two] sister missionaries in Korea who LOVE YOU.”

Whether you’re struggling with self-doubt, mental health, or you just need to feel a little extra love, this video is the perfect reminder that every life is important and every person is worthy of love.

Lyrics:

Just hold on

We’re all here waiting for you

Just be strong

There’s so much more left to do

The night is cold

You’re caught inside

You are not alone

So darling don’t let go

You may be bruised

Yeah you may be broken

The scares that fix you

Were not meant to hold you down

I’ll be with you so you can see

No need to hide what’s inside

I’ll be with you to carry you through it all

Won’t let you fall

Won’t let you fall

You may be bruised

Yeah you may be broken

The scars that fix you

Were not meant to hold you down

I’ll be with you so you can see

No need to hide what’s inside

I’ll be with you to carry you through it all

Through it all

Won’t let you fall

I won’t let you fall
