During my final semester as a freshman at BYU-Idaho, I was dating a boy I’d met back home in southern California during my off-track. Before I’d met him, I had planned on returning to Idaho and living there year-round until I finished school. But by mid-semester, I was seriously considering going home and taking my classes online in the fall so I could be with him.
It was a big decision for me. I liked my life in Rexburg, and there wasn’t much sense in going home unless I saw a future with my boyfriend. So I got down on my knees and prayed to know Heavenly Father’s will.
And I didn’t feel any answer.
