A new state audit says more liquor licenses are needed in Utah and that could have big implications for the LDS Church's new City Creek Center project.
The 66 page audit makes it pretty clear Utah could use some more liquor licenses for new restaurants and drinking establishments.
Brian Dean, an auditor told a legislative committee Thursday,
"This license shortage may negatively effect economic activity and job growth."
No one, however, at the DABC audit committee meeting mentioned the LDS Church's City Creek Center project.
