Police are investigating the vandalism of an LDS property in Rexburg, Idaho, following the results of the Nov. 8 election.

Church members reported the LDS outbuilding located at 2300 West block of 2000 South vandalized with green, anti-Trump graffiti on Nov. 12.

The graffiti has since been sprayed over with a similar color until it can be removed, according to the Rexburg Police Department.

“Our Church buildings are places of worship and community gathering where all are welcome. We are saddened by the damage that has occurred at this location,” local church spokesman Merv Brown said in an interview with East Idaho News. “At this point authorities have just begun their initial investigation, and all inquiries should be referred to them.”
