Nauvoo Pageant - “A Tribute to Joseph Smith”

July 9–August 3, Tuesdays through Saturdays, beginning at 8:30 p.m., Nauvoo, Illinois

Narrated by Parley P. Pratt, the pageant emphasizes the prophetic mission of Joseph Smith and honors the sacrifice, faith and courage of the Saints who gave their all to build a city and a temple to their God.

Men and Women of Faith Lecture - “Amy Brown Lyman's Mission in Europe”

Aug. 8, 7:00 p.m., Assembly Hall, Salt Lake City, Utah

Accompanying her mission president husband to Europe in 1936, Amy Brown Lyman, then serving as a counselor in the general Relief Society presidency, faced the challenge of adapting programs developed in the Mormon heartland to conditions in the international Church.
