Ready to experience the real Polynesia again? As the Polynesian Cultural Center celebrates its 50th year, this is the perfect time to re-immerse yourself into the lifestyles, entertainment and warmth of seven island villages and exhibits at Hawaii’s favorite attraction.

With all of the updates and improvements, now you will see it, feel it and experience it as never before with memories washing over you from the first time you were welcomed through the PCC entrance.

Fiji, Hawaii, Samoa, Tahiti, Tonga, New Zealand and Easter Island are represented throughout the Center’s 42 lush acres, with landscaping that has matured with beauty and grace.

Relive your memories as you celebrate our Golden Jubilee with the visually stunning new media experience, Hawaiian Journey. This new 14-min. film will take you on a journey unlike anything offered in the Hawaiian Islands. Majestic mountains, roaring waterfalls, lush forests and imposing volcanoes – many only accessible by air – are all brought to life through astounding cinematography and customized special effects that will tantalize your senses.

The visual effects, though, are only half the story. You’ll love how the Hawaiian Journey storyline provides a deeper understanding of how the people of Hawaii are connected to the ʻaina (land).

Join us Sept. 1-8, where, together again with lifelong friends, you will enjoy a week of ceremony and celebration from historical presentations to crafts and concerts. Reunions, talent shows, a PCC parade in Laie and a Jubilee Ball are all part of the weeklong celebration that will stir rich memories and culminate with alumni shows featuring highlights from 1963 to today with more festivities.

When you return, you’ll enjoy the new “Go Native!” hands-on activities, including barefoot coconut tree climbing, Tahitian spear throwing, outrigger canoe paddling and Samoan cooking. It’s all part of plunging into our relaxing island way of life, interacting with friendly Polynesian brothers and sisters who will leave you with a lifetime of memories.

Take advantage of special pricing, promotions and new improvements during our 50th year, including a renovated Hawaii Village that includes new activities, exhibits and architecture.

Escape with Hā: Breath of Life, Hawaii’s must-see stunning evening show featuring fire knife dancing, special effects, animation and surround sound. It follows the symbolic story of Mana, a boy nurtured by a village in paradise, learning his people’s ways, finding love and defending life with heart-stopping bravery.

Whether you spend all day at the Center or just part, don’t miss the new Island Luau in the Samoa Village, where Kap, Hawaii’s most popular Samoan, will treat you like family and entertain you with performances of songs and dances with his Samoan family. The traditional Samoan drum will signal the beginning of the nightly torch-lit luau, which includes sweet Kalua pork complemented with delicious island fare. Complete the luau in awe watching youth fireknife dances.

No matter how many times you’ve visited before, the Polynesian Cultural Center is waiting for you to come back to family and friends on that beautiful scenic drive to Oahu’s lovely North Shore. To reserve your place in paradise today, call 808-293-3333 or visit Polynesia.com. Open at noon Mon-Sat. Closed Sundays.
