We saw many changes announced during the 2019 October general conference, including nine General Authority Seventies who received emeritus status: Elder Wilford W. Andersen, Elder Kim B. Clark, Elder Lawrence E. Corbridge, Elder Claudio R.M. Costa, Elder Bradley D. Foster, Elder O. Vincent Haleck, Elder Donald L. Hallstrom, Elder Steven E. Snow, and Elder Larry Y. Wilson.
In addition to these changes, five new Area Seventies were also called. The Church's newsroom released the following information about these new Church leaders:

R. Pepper Murray, 60, Bountiful, Utah; Orthopedic Surgeon, self-employed; Salt Lake Married Student 2nd Stake president; former bishop, high councilor and counselor in a stake presidency. Wife, Rachelle; three children.
Ryan K. Olsen, 44, Salt Lake City, Utah; Senior Vice President/Chief Operating Officer, Moreton & Company; recently released as president of the Uruguay Montevideo West Mission; former bishop, counselor in a bishopric, high councilor, stake mission president and stake president.
