One member has been coordinating media coverage and launched a Facebook page to help organize searchers. Another member has been calling hospitals, mortuaries, and homeless shelters. And last Saturday, the local meetinghouse acted as the launching point for a search by about 200 people.

The efforts are in hopes of finding Noemi Bolivar, who left home on February 11 to go on a walk in a nearby nature preserve, as reported by Deseret News. The BYU–Idaho graduate has not been seen since.

In the weeks since Noemi Bolivar went missing, local Latter-day Saints in Hollywood, Florida, have sprung into action in hopes of finding one of their own.

“We’re hoping and praying for the best and hoping for her safe return,” Stake President Scott Richards told Deseret News. “She’s one of the choice young women of our stake. . . . we miss her dearly.”
