Thanks to Deseret News for making us aware of this video.

New England Patriot linebacker and former BYU football player Harvey Langi had an emotional reunion with his wife after a car accident left both in the hospital.

Cassidy Langi, Harvey's wife, posted the tearful hospital reunion, with Harvey maneuvering on crutches to hug his wife, who was lying in a hospital bed with IV cords trailing down her arms.

Friday the 13, 2017 was date night for Harv and I 👫On our way home we stopped at the light to turn to our house, when all of a sudden a SUV rammed straight into us. I completely blacked out and don’t remember anything, while Harvey remembers seeing me, his wife, laying lifeless and gushing blood. It’s been 3 days since that moment and we were finally reunited. We have been in the hospital for a few days and still have a few days to go. We are so completely blessed to have each other to lean on through all of this craziness. We are so grateful for all of our family and friends who have taken the time to come visit us, reached out to us, prayed for us, and have shown us their love and support. Our hearts are completely full right now ❤️ I just want my husband Havea to know how blessed I am to be your wife. I know this is a huge trial we will be facing but I know we can get through this together, day by day. Thank you for always loving me and staying by my side through it all. I love you with all my heart babe 💜😘 A post shared by Cassidy Lynn Langi (@cassidylangi10) on Oct 17, 2017 at 7:58am PDT

On October 13, as the couple was stopped at a red light, a 2005 Grand Jeep Cherokee rear-ended their car, pinning their 2011 Mazda between the Jeep and the 2007 Toyota ahead of them. The Mazda was so damaged, the Langis were trapped inside to the point where the roof of the car had to be sawed off to get them out. And as police tried to reach the Langis, they noticed Harvey desperately holding napkins to Cassidy's profusing bleeding neck, trying to keep her alive until help could reach them, according to bostonherald.com.

Harvey sustained neck and back injuries and Cassidy fractured both her hips, suffered broken ribs, and was evaluated for internal bleeding, according to the bostonglobe.com

After three days in the hospital, the couple's first reunion since the crash was videotaped by family members and posted on Cassidy's Instagram account.

"We are so completely blessed to have each other to lean on through all of this craziness," Cassidy posted. "We are so grateful for all of our family and friends who have taken the time to come visit us, reached out to us, prayed for us, and have shown us their love and support. The video has since gained some traction, with fans commenting on Harvey's Twitter page, sharing their own reactions to the video. It was even retweeted by the Today Show on Twitter.
