Award-winning recording group Eclipse 6 released their eighth album—Sing Thy Grace—today via FTM Records. Sing Thy Grace is the second gospel album from Eclipse 6, a follow-up to the very popular Grateful Praise. The music features breathtaking vocal arrangements of world-beloved hymns such as “Abide with Me,” “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing,” and “My Shepherd Will Supply My Need.” The six-man group is also releasing music videos to accompany the album, starting with “Come Thou Fount . . . ” and “Abide with Me,” via the Eclipse 6 YouTube channel (click here).
Sing Thy Grace includes two guest artists: singer-songwriter Madilyn Paige, from NBC’s The Voice (season 6), sings “Nearer, My God, to Thee;” and McKay Crockett, director of BYU’s Vocal Point, arranges “Be Thou My Vision.” Like the seven albums preceding it, Sing Thy Grace is produced by long-time Eclipse 6 collaborator Patrick Rose (who also composes for the popular TV series “Nashville”).
Eclipse 6 has been performing since 1999 and was featured in the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. Their music and performances have earned numerous local and national awards, including “Group Recording Artist of the Year” (Faith Centered Music Association Pearl Awards), “Best A Cappella Album” (Just Plain Folks Music Awards), “Best Religious Song” (Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards), and “Best Vocal Group” (Utah’s Best of State Awards).
