HolyFetch.com Creator Spills the Beans on Mormon Myths

It all started when Casey Cummings of Kaysville was serving a mission for the LDS Church.

"As a missionary, you hear a lot of Mormon urban legends," he said. "I had one companion say that Sting sang Book of Mormon stories. I wrote it down in my missionary journal and said, 'When I get home, I will investigate.'"

From that simple moment began something that has turned into a phenomenon -- HolyFetch.com.

For the rest of his LDS mission, Cummings kept a running list in his missionary journal of the Mormon legends he heard. He had a vague idea of investigating each claim and writing a book about his answers.
