LDS Girls Plan to Build Community of Homes in Dominican Republic

Two young girls from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, have more on their minds than just the next school day — namely, a goal to build homes for the poor in the Dominican Republic, at least one home per year until they finish high school.

Zoe Palmer, 12, is a seventh-grader at Londonderry Junior High. Her sister, Gemma, 8, attends Kildare Elementary School as a fourth-grader. They both have lots of years ahead of them to accomplish their goal.
