LDS church meetinghouse in "second stage" of building

The renovation and addition to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Jamestown have been in the works since the early 1980s, when the building went up. The church was designed to be built in four stages, set to be expanded as the number of members grew — and grow they did.

“We just didn’t have enough room,” said Jay Pickrel, president of the Jamestown branch of LDS. “... we were jammed up nice and tight during that Sacrament meeting.”
