The Angel Moroni Appears as a Clue on "The Masked Singer": Could Donny Osmond or Gladys Knight Be on the Show?

With 12 undercover celebrities singing dressed as peacocks, rabbits, poodles, and more, Fox's The Masked Singer has caught the public's attention with its mix of bizarre, fame, and mystery. And several rumors have connected Latter-day Saints with the show. But none have been more convincing than a recent clue that appeared on Twitter on February 13—an angel Moroni:

Many people have claimed Donny Osmond is the masked singer the Peacock, especially after last week's episode, when the Peacock revealed the clue that his face has been tattooed on someone's body. It didn't take long for fans around the internet to discover this picture:

And then there is the matter of the Peacock's voice, which fits the famous Latter-day Saint's vocal range and style. (Not to mention the clues that the singer has been performing from a young age, he twirled onstage with a rainbow cape that seems reminiscent of the coat of many colors from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat—one of Donny's most famous rolesand the Peacock showed off a wig that looks creepily alike to the one Donny wore in Joseph).

While the Donny theory has been spread far and wide, some of the most interesting evidence appeared on Twitter this week, when viewers caught a glimpse of the Peacock outside the show, with an angel Moroni perched on the desk next to the masked singer. But Donny isn't the only Latter-day Saint rumored to be on the show. Last week the Bee revealed that she has 10 Grammy awards, which sent Twitter abuzz as many realized Gladys Knight has won 10 Grammys.

And there's the matter of the Bee's soulful, powerful voice. Could it belong to Gladys Knight, the Empress of Soul? (Read more about the Gladys Knight/Bee theory here.) I guess we'll have to wait and see.
