Pianist Paul Cardall returns to his spiritual roots with his 15th studio album, 40 Hymns for Forty Days, as the Steinway Artist celebrates 20 years in the music business.

In 1995, Cardall began selling his first solo piano album, Sign of Affection, while performing at the Roof Restaurant in Salt Lake City, Utah on Saturday nights for tips. Since then, his fan base has grown internationally with fans living in more than 100 nations. According to Facebook analysis, listeners come from a wide variety of culture, race and religions.

Steinway & Sons Artist Manager Jenn Gordan said, "Cardall's commitment to excellence in his artistic and professional achievements make it most appropriate that he is included on the Steinway Artist Roster, a list of the most accomplished and discriminating artists in the world.”

Concerning his new album, Cardall said, “Often when I listen to a classic piece of music by Mozart, Dvorak or from a modern day composer my senses are enlightened and I feel motivated to be a better person. This is why I have created all new hymn arrangements.”
