{Poll} Going to the Temple

by | Nov. 08, 2012

President Gordon B. Hinckley famously focused on temples – helping them to grow in number from 46 to 124 in his presidency alone. He also asked that Church membership try to get to the temple a little more often. President Thomas S. Monson has continued this focus on temples and temple building, and today there are a vastly larger number of temples for church membership (140 dedicated, 14 more under construction, and an additional 14 announced). But temples are still sometimes hours, even days, from many church members. So we're curious – how often do you get to the temple?

How often are you able to attend the temple?

Several times a week
Once a week
Once a month
A few times a year
Every few years
Once in a lifetime

How far do you live from a temple (in travel time)?

15 minutes or so
About an hour
1.5 hours-several hours
A full day of travel
A few days of travel

Do you live in Utah (because temple attendance is presumably higher where temple access is easier)?

Have you done temple work for ancestors?
