This weekend was the second time we had a four-session general conference. Here’s a look back at a few other milestones you may have missed.

Most Talks in 4 Sessions

  • This conference marked the first time there have been 37 talks in four sessions.
    • For context, the April 2026 conference consisted of 34 talks in four sessions.
  • It also was the first time in over a century that 10 speakers spoke in an individual session (this happened twice, during the Saturday and Sunday afternoon sessions).
    • Before 2026, six or seven speakers typically addressed the Church per session. Last April, this average increased to eight or nine speakers per session.

Most Speakers in 4 Sessions

  • With 36 different leaders taking the pulpit, this weekend also set a new record for the highest number of different speakers across four sessions.
  • Reflecting the Church’s international membership and diversity, these speakers hail from 16 countries and one United States territory:
    • American Samoa, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Czech Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, England, France, Mexico, Nigeria, the Philippines, Samoa, South Africa, Tonga, United States, Zambia, and Zimbabwe

Milestone for Global Choir Participants

  • This weekend, 13 global participants joined The Tabernacle Choir. While we’ve seen up to 14 international participants in the past, this most recent group set a different record—they hailed from 12 countries and one US territory, including:
    • Argentina, Australia, Austria, Chile, England, Finland, Germany, Honduras, Puerto Rico, Scotland, South Africa, South Korea, and Sweden
      • With 13 distinct locations, this milestone marks the highest number of international areas ever represented by the choir’s global participant program.
