What Elder Stevenson says to do when you’ve reached the ‘deep end’ of your faith

Going back to school is the perfect time to get back into good spiritual habits and reenergize your family's Come, Follow Me study. Whether your goal is to improve your family study or better engage your children in the gospel, these items are sure to help you stay on track all year.

To set the stage for the present discussion, I will return to a quote from President David O. McKay:

At a recent stake conference I attended, one of the speakers briefly made a comment about how we can hold fast to the sturdy iron rod while also being flexible enough to follow the direction of the Liahona. Though it was meant to be a passing thought, this idea was all I could think about for the rest of the meeting. I mean, how interesting—within one scriptural family’s story, we have two seemingly opposing examples of obedience.

August 2021 marks the 20th anniversary of what Elder David A. Bednar called “one of the most important educational events of the Restoration”—the transformation of Ricks College from a two-year junior college to Brigham Young University–Idaho, a four-year institution.

After the 2020 and 2021 pageants were cancelled, the Nauvoo Pageant is inviting single Latter-day Saints between the ages 18 to 25 to serve as performing missionaries in the 2022 pageant. Performing missionaries fall into three groups of volunteers: band members, singers and dancers, and production technicians.

Responding to a crucial need to relieve the suffering of Afghan refugees arriving in Qatar, Latter-day Saint Charities, the humanitarian arm of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is providing urgently needed supplies.
