For all those who use the Newsletter tool on lds.org for their wards or stakes, you might want to start saving important information you don't want to lose.
The Church has announced that the Newsletter tool (lds.org/member-news) on lds.org that allows local leaders to post a newsletter for members of their wards and stakes to read online will be discontinued on February 28, 2017.
According to a December 14 email sent to bishops and stake presidents of units that had used the Newsletter function in the past two years, the Church is retiring Newsletter because of low usage, outdated technology, and widely available alternatives that units can use to distribute newsletters.
