First Presidency Calls New Temple President to Serve in Preston, England

The First Presidency has called a new temple president and temple matron to serve in Preston, England.

Michael Alan Rigby, 66, Eastwood Ward, Nottingham England Stake, called as president of the Preston England Temple, succeeding President Joseph Leece, who recently passed away. President Rigby’s wife, Carol Linda Redisons Rigby, will serve as temple matron, succeeding Sister Linda A. Leece. He is the second counselor in the Preston England Temple presidency, and is a former stake president, bishop, and high councilor. Retired director and partner, Anarda Career Development, he was born in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England, to Cyril Clifford and Ellen Rigby.
