Five BYU-I students win top awards in national design competitions

Five Brigham Young University-Idaho students recently received top awards from major National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) design competitions. Up against a combined 724 entries in three competitions, BYU-Idaho students won $8,500, and two students will take a free trip to Las Vegas for the National Kitchen and Bath Industry Show.

“We have consistently done well year after year, and I know it is because these students strive for excellence and have been taught to work hard,” said Wendy Harris, Department of Interior Design instructor. “The students spend a tremendous amount of time preparing for the competitions. They really have gone above and beyond.”
