Today marks the beginning of National Adoption Month, giving families closely involved with adoption a chance to pause and reflect on the journey that brought them to where they are today. For many of these families in Utah Valley, part of their reflection will involve remembering their experience with the Family Services Center through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Many couples start their journey to become parents through LDS Family Services after learning they are unable to conceive. There are currently more than 650 couples waiting to adopt through LDS Family Services, and though it can be a lengthy process, it brings joy to all who are involved.
