How a Bishop's Bout with Cancer Helped Him Re-Focus His Life

The fast approaching Christmas season has Terry Tippets reflecting on the value of even the most simple of gifts.

Diagnosed with Esophageal cancer a year ago, Tippets said he jumped right into painful treatments that left him on the receiving end of many gifts from others last holiday season.

Tippets is a bishop of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints West Haven Country Meadows ward and is well-versed in how he feels when he serves others.
