The International Children’s Choir, under the direction of Dr. Kathy Sorensen, invites you to enjoy its 25th Anniversary Celebration Concert, “Something Old, Something New” on Saturday, May 6 at 7:30 pm in the Assembly Hall on Temple Square.
Singers dressed in colorful authentic costumes from around the world will share music of a variety of styles and cultures, with accents of instruments and dancing.
The concert will feature songs performed in native languages for ambassadors, as well as other choir favorites, including three beloved arrangements by emeritus accompanist, Sheryl Laukat, and touches of rhythm & blues, gospel, jazz and rock with Tevis Laukat on soprano sax. Dr. Robert Breault, tenor, and alumni of the choir will spice up the mix.
Ages 6 and up are invited. Admission is free.
