On Saturday, June 18, an LDS church in Draper closed down after a water main break caused the building to flood.

When the Unified Fire crew arrived at the Eagle Crest 2nd ward, water was gushing out of the building near 150th south 1900 east.

“There’s some damage inside. The floors have heaved in some places," Taylor Sandstrom of Unified Fire Authority toldGood 4 Utah. "There’s some structure damage to the walls, some cracks."

The extent of the damage is not yet known as well as how long the building will be closed for.
