Friday, May, 3: Ken Packer

Ken Packer, son of President Boyd K. Packer, is an avid artist and designer. He specializes in bronze sculpture, and his sculptures always reflect wildlife, Western life or great historical moments in time. He studied design and sculpture at BYU, and now works at the BYU Monte L. Bean Life Science Museum. Come hear him talk about his artwork and his faith at this week’s Deseret Book Lunch and Learn lecture.

Men and Women of Faith Lecture Series: Julia and Emily Hill

The Church History Library will host the Men and Women of Faith lecture: “Julia and Emily Hill: Sisters in Zion” featuring Debbie J. Christensen, telling the story of the author of the hymn “As Sisters in Zion." This event is free and open to the public.

2013 BYU Women's Conference

The annual women’s conference cosponsored by Brigham Young University and the Relief Society is Thursday and Friday, May 2 and 3, 2013, in Provo, Utah. The conference is attended by and broadcast to women from around the world.
Southern California Mormon Choir Performance

May 4, Simi Valley, California

This LDS choir native to California will perform at an LDS church building in Simi Valley for the public. This concert is free and is sure to be a treat for Mormons and non-Mormons alike.
