In a recent music video, LDS pianist Monica Scott recently showed how the power of righteous music can calm our anger and troubles with this stunning mashup of "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing," "Lead Kindly Light," and "I Need Thee Every Hour."
Along with this video, Monica Scott shared with LDS Living:
"Music has been such a blessing in our home. As a full-time mother, motherhood can be very challenging and chaotic at times. I have been arranging hymns with my little ones playing around me—often times in my lap— because of the calming influence these sacred hymns have on our hearts.
"The piano used in this video belongs to my sweet grandma who has passed away. She was a mother of 7 children and loved teaching piano lessons to the neighborhood children on this piano. It was one of her greatest treasures."
