LDS Pitcher Starting in World Series for Royals Team

Utah Valley Magazine interviewed Jeremy Guthrie right before Spring Training in 2013. With this Royals pitcher taking the mound in the World Series, we dusted off this timely interview about his BYU days, mission lessons and why he chooses to live in Pleasant Grove even though his $25 million contract would let him live anywhere.

Jeremy Guthrie, now a 10-year Major League veteran, got his feet on the mound with a collegiate start at BYU (his most vivid memories involve The Creamery) before serving an LDS mission in Spain and transferring to Stanford.
