LDS Woman Wins International Singing Awards 2 Years in a Row (+ Watch Her Perform)

An LDS singer recently won an international singing award for the second year in a row, and she accomplished it by singing uplifting and faith-filled music and sharing her testimony. "We are so grateful . . . to be praising the Lord for the gifts we've been given," Chenille Saunders says. "Now, because of what our Savior has done for us, we will never walk alone."

A Utah singer recently was named female vocalist and entertainer of the year by the North America Country Music Associations, International for the second year in a row.

Chenille Saunders, of Cedar City, competed in the gospel music category last month in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. She sang several songs including “How Great Thou Art” to take home the honors.

“It was exciting, it was really fun,” she said.
