Speaking in October 2004 general conference, President M. Russell Ballard shared a powerful statement: “Testimony—real testimony, born of the Spirit and confirmed by the Holy Ghost—changes lives.”

We recently asked our followers, “If you could share a one-sentence testimony with the world, what would you say?” The responses we received were too powerful not to share.

“I know that my Redeemer lives.”

“Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God and His true and living Church has been restored, even The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.”

“If at the end of your life you have not chosen Christ, it won’t matter what you chose!”

“My life is better and I have hope because of my Savior Jesus Christ and the plan my Father in Heaven [has] for me.”

“We can and are to become like Christ is—completely divine.”

“Faith is knowing He’s faithful and knowing He can—but even if He doesn’t—our hope is in Him alone.”

“The Book of Mormon is indeed another testament of Jesus Christ.”

“I know that If we keep the commandments, we will receive temporal and spiritual blessings in this life and eventually live with Heavenly Father in a state of never-ending happiness.”
