Courtney Spencer

Courtney Spencer is a wife, mother to a 3-year-old and 9-month-old, and a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, having joined the Church at age 26 while living in New York City. She is the author of “Embrace the Hit”, a former National TV Host for CBS Deals on CBS Mornings and QVC, and co-founder of a fitness-tech startup later acquired by Beachbody. A lifelong athlete, she most recently trained and competed for seven years in the Winter Olympic sport of Skeleton.
Born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and adopted as an infant, Courtney was raised in Texas. She earned her B.A. in News/Editorial Journalism with a minor in Management and Marketing from Baylor University, where she also played Division I lacrosse. Through recent genealogy research, she discovered she is one of nine half-siblings living around the world.
