The First Presidency and the Presiding Bishopric of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints toured the historic Salt Lake Temple on Friday, December 12, 2025, amid ongoing renovation work.

Church President Dallin H. Oaks; his wife, Kristen; his counselors, President Henry B. Eyring and President D. Todd Christofferson; and President Christofferson’s wife, Kathy, were joined by the Presiding Bishopric, who manage the temporal affairs of the Church.

Under renovation since December 30, 2019, the Salt Lake Temple is nearing completion. An open house celebration to tour the temple and surrounding Temple Square will be held for the public from April to October 2027.
