KaRyn Lay doesn't mind if you chose someone else for your kickball team. In fact, she's openly bad at math and most sports but you'll probably want her on your quiz bowl team, especially for the movie questions.
She currently works full-time as a content strategist for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and feels grateful that she is able to help produce and develop podcasts for LDS Living in her spare time.
She helps host and produce This Is the Gospel storytelling podcast and truly loves all stories (including yours!). She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature in 1999 from the University of Pennsylvania where she studied 20th century American poetry and scrapped her way through a master's program in communications at Brigham Young University, finally finishing just before the graduation deadline in 2016.
She is a step-mother to two really great kids and is married to Justin Lay, the person she wants to go thrift store shopping with for eternity.
