Katrina Wales Maxton is a native to Angus, Scotland. She embraced an opportunity to work in the United States for several years before joining the Church in California. After her conversion, the Lord soon called Katrina to serve a full-time mission in the New Jersey Morristown Mission, which she loved.
Upon returning home to Scotland, Katrina earned a degree at Dundee University of Nursing and Midwifery.
Katrina, at 35, met, fell in love with, and married her wonderful husband who was not a member of the Church. Together they are raising two wonderful children. Katrina looks forward to her family becoming an eternal one and faithfully accepts there is a plan for all of Heavenly Fathers children.
Katrina appreciates living in the countryside, being close to beautiful coastal beaches and breathtaking rolling hills and glens. She enjoys walking their black Labrador, Major, Pilates, gardening, cooking and making her award-winning shortbread.
Katrina’s testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ is a constant strength and she has found sharing what she knows with others, one of her greatest joys, this extends to family history work and helping those who are waiting to progress.
