Obama Meets with Apostles in SLC to Talk About National Issues
Obama met with LDS Church leaders at the hotel, including President Henry B. Eyring and President Dieter F. Uchtdorf of First Presidency, and Elder L. Tom Perry and Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.
Deputy White House press secretary Eric Schultz said they were expected to talk about the church's long record of service, including its work on disaster relief and other humanitarian issues, and the need to fix the nation's broken immigration system.
The leaders were also to discuss the need to forge more common ground across differences and to promote service to neighbors, both in the United States and around the world.

Brigham Young University grad student Keith Allen and his team at the BYU AdLab have found the key to ultimate viral success: Harry Potter nerds.
It’s been one week since Allen’s "Uptown Funk" parody, "Dark Lord Funk" hit the Internet, and, with stellar casting, fantastic lyrics and a flawless music video, it’s gotten not just the attention of Harry Potter fans around the globe, but also Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling herself.
"Yes, I've seen it," Rowling said on Twitter last week, "and in my opinion it is a work of genius."

Fathers, You Can’t Afford a Stay-At-Home Mom
My wife stays home and takes care of our son every single day. She changes his diapers, feeds him, plays with him, puts him down for his nap, and comforts him when he’s upset. And that’s just the bare minimum. A child can typically get that attention at a day-care. But on top of that, he is her only focus. There’s no other children to tend to. He gets all of her. All of her love, all of her time, all of her energy. She is always there, always near, and always listening. Obviously, this is part of being a parent. You take care of your child and you raise your child. But let’s face it. In our day and age, every service (and I mean EVERY service) is hireable. There is a company ready and willing to do just about anything. So while, yes, my wife is my son’s mother and it is a natural result of being a parent to love and care for your own child, there is also a very quantifiable dollar amount that can be attributed to the services rendered.
