But the scorecard approach soon gets old and exhausting. General Young Women’s President Emily Belle Freeman challenged that perspective in her recent General Conference talk. And she shares her own personal “why” when it comes to gospel living.

She considers herself a bit of a bookworm, and she’s a major “Swiftie.” She just celebrated her first Christmas with her 1-year-old son.
