Marcia Blake grew up in Sandy, Utah, and earned her bachelor of science from Brigham Young University in 1994. Shortly afterward she moved to Las Vegas, where she has lived for the past 32 years. She met her husband, Ben, in 1995, and they were married in 1996. Together they have five beautiful children. Marcia is the Executive Director of Helping Hands of Vegas Valley, a nonprofit that provides supportive services to older adults in the Las Vegas Valley. She currently serves as the Gospel Doctrine teacher in her ward, where she loves studying the scriptures and sharing her insights with ward members, just as they share theirs with her.
