To honor his memory and pay respects to our beloved prophet, many are predicted to attend the viewing of President Monson on Thursday at the LDS Conference Center.

The first event of the final chapter of tributes given the late LDS Church President Thomas S. Monson began early Thursday morning as mourners filed into the LDS Conference Center for his one-day public viewing.

The viewing, held in the Conference Center’s Hall of Prophets, began with doors opening at 7 a.m., as church employees were granted an early slot to pay their respects. Public hours are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with tens of thousands of all ages expected to file through the hall and past his casket.
