Refugee's journey inspires former LDS Church Service missionary to finish college

Saran Nahas, a refugee from Sierra Leone, had recently resettled in Utah when she met Amy Wylie in the fall of 2004. Wylie, then a service missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, didn't have much experience with refugees. Seemingly overnight, the South Salt Lake neighborhood to which she and her husband had been assigned was brimming with refugee families.
