Former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney told the fall convocation at the University of Utah's business school Wednesday that he was done running for the White House after two unsuccessful tries. "I've had two bites at the apple. Three strikes and you're out," a relaxed Romney told the overflow crowd of students, faculty and business leaders gathered to hear his 45-minute speech.
"No Poor Among Them" is more than a passage of LDS scripture. For a handful of Mormon humanitarians, it's the name of an organization -- one dedicated to finding and applying LDS approaches to eradicating global poverty. That organization, started more than two years ago as a podcast and blog, is gaining traction, developing partnerships and, as of today, launching a brand new website.

She holds two bachelor's degrees in music from ASU and a PhD in Musicology and Choral Music from BYU. As vocal coach for the Choir, she works closely with prospective members who have been accepted into the Temple Square Chorale, the training ensemble of the Choir. She does individual vocal assessments for each new Chorale member before that member begins rehearsals.

You do not want to rely on what the world tells you that you should do with your life – your potential is yours alone and it is your sacred obligation to figure out what that is and to pursue it,” Director of the Romney Institute of Public Management David Hart said.
In 2007, things were good for Ben and Kasey Kelley. Ben's pressure-washing company was supporting his family of six, and they had a strong financial foundation. But when the recession hit the next year, and a drought demanded water conservation, Ben's business went under. The family, once financially stable, lost their home. They moved into a rental, and Ben often worked 80-hour weeks in order to provide for his young family, including the added expenses of raising a child with autism.
