Two prominent men in Britain have received the 2011 UK Family Values Award from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Local Church leaders in the UK recently presented the award to leading political commentator and founder of think tank ResPublica, Phillip Blond. Edmund Adamus, director of pastoral affairs at the Roman Catholic Diocese of Westminster, also received the award.

If you live in Carmel, you’ve seen it. Construction’s still underway at the Mormon temple at the corner of 116th Street and Spring Mill Road. It’s a project the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints first announced back in 2010. Now, we have word the temple will open sometime in 2015.
