Twenty-Five years ago Gusty and Teri Graham had to make one of the hardest choices of their lives when they placed their son Devin up for adoption. But recently, with the help of the TLC show Long Lost Family, they were able to reunite with Devin again, turning their initial pain and struggle to overwhelming joy and gratitude.

They teach at the same school. The men they married were best friends. And now, identical twin sisters Kerri Bunker and Kelli Wall have yet another thing to share.

It’s a story we’ve told many times before, but it deserves repeating here because of the powerful lesson it teaches about family priorities. While serving as Mormon mission president in London, we got a call one day from headquarters of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was Arthur Haycock, secretary to President Spencer W. Kimball, who in his mind-mannered, humble way said, “President, we hate to impose, but the prophet will be coming to London next week on his way to the continent and if it wouldn’t be too much trouble, do you think you and Sister Eyre could meet our flight at Heathrow Airport and get us to our hotel in London?

What insightful thoughts into such a difficult time all of us can relate to: "Ultimately, when we are angry at God or feel abandoned by Him, we are focusing on the idea that we know better—that things should run according to our plan. Until we let go of this false sense of control and actually submit our will to His, we will be at odds with God."

Recently, BYU spokeswoman Carri Jenkins explained to The Daily Universe why BYU doesn't sell caffeinated beverages. In addition, writer Jayne Verhaaren interviewed “the caffeine dealer,” a vendor who delivers caffeinated sodas to people on campus.

With the exception of some sections from the Doctrine and Covenants, we do not have the original manuscripts for any of our scriptures. All original documents for the Old and New Testaments are gone. What we have are copies (and usually copies of copies) or interpretations of copies. Likewise, Moroni’s golden plates are no longer in our possession. Even the original Book of Mormon translation manuscript (only 28% of which has survived) is a “translation” of the ancient Nephite book and not the original document. No document was present when Joseph Smith received the Book of Moses by revelation. Section 7 of the D&C was given as revelation wherein Joseph saw a translation from the “parchment” which was “written and hid up by” the Apostle John. Finally, when it comes to the Book Abraham, the text we have in our scriptures is a “translation” of information that was either contained on some portion of the Joseph Smith Papyri that has been lost or, like the Book of Moses and text from the Apostle John, was given by direct revelation without the presence of the original source document.

The Siebert family loves to sing together. Jim and Debbie, and their four children—Ashley, Emmie, Grant, and Dallin—enjoy sharing their testimonies of the gospel through videos of acapella hymns, which they post on social media using the hashtag #hymnselfie.

All our lives we're taught to make plans and set goals and to write them down. We have a plan for our education, a plan for our career, a plan for our homes, and we have tons of plans for how to lose weight.
