As Latter-day Saints, we understand that modesty encompasses much more than what we wear. It is a way of being. It is a way of understanding our potential as children of Heavenly Parents in everyday moments. It is about taking care of the divine and heavenly gifts we receive. It is a way of life.
During his first talk as prophet speaking to all Church members in general conference, President Russell M. Nelson bore a powerful witness of our Savior, Jesus Christ: "Without our Redeemer’s infinite Atonement, not one of us would have hope of ever returning to our Heavenly Father. After a general conference weekend like the one we experienced last April, there are too many emotions and too many words to summarize what we all witnessed. Solemn assemblies. Priesthood quorum changes. New apostles. Home and visiting teaching gone. And then that mic drop of seven new temples announced, including in Russia and India. As Elder Holland quipped, "President Nelson, I don't know how many rushes we can handle this weekend. Some of us have weak hearts. But, as I think about it, you can take care of that too."

Over the past century, Erma Rosenhan has prepared more than 400,000 of her German ancestors' names, according to the Deseret News. About this remarkable woman, Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf recently wrote on Instagram, "She served as a missionary in Germany and volunteered in the Family History Library for 40 years. Her life has been full of meaningful service."
Because the May Ensign and Liahona contain a report of the April 2012 General Conference messages, there is no prepared message for visiting or home teachers. The Church encourages visiting and home teachers to prayerfully select addresses that apply to their sisters/families.
