Rachel Cool

Rachel Cool is a freelance writer and editor. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in public relations, where she later worked as an adjunct professor in the School of Communications. She also has experience as a public relations, news, and internet marketing writer. When she’s not reading a good mystery book, Rachel loves playing at the lake with her husband, two kids, and dog.

Bekki Hood

Bekki Hood grew up in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, until she moved to Arizona for her education. Because of her love for writing, teaching, and helping others, she earned a master’s degree in English at Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Idaho State University. She currently works as a counselor in Layton, Utah, and she teaches introductory writing courses at BYU. She loves visiting her family, spending time with friends, and crashing her parents’ vacations.

Jenn Knight

Jenn Knight grew up in Indiana and now resides in Belmont, Massachusetts. She got her BA from BYU in International Politics with a minor in Chinese Studies. She served a mission in Taipei, Taiwan and returned to earn an MLA in Religion, Extension Studies at Harvard. She now majors in early-morning seminary and after-school activities as she stays home with her kids. She is mother to six, two of whom have graduated from this life and are helping out from the other side of the veil. She finds great joy in reading, exercising, Japanese folding techniques, and writing. Norma Banks

Norma Banks lives in Kansas City, Missouri, where she was born and raised. She received her BA degree in communications from the University of Iowa. Having discovered sculpting, she focuses on improving her artistic ability and skill in order to increase her contribution of sending more beauty into the world. Norma is sixty-five years old and has been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since 1992.

Darius A. Gray

A skilled communicator and writer, Darius Aidan Gray was senior staff reporter and chief photographer at the CBS affiliate in Salt Lake City. He also worked as an assistant to a U.S. Senator on African Affairs. Darius presides over the Genesis Group, an official arm of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints organized in 1971 to support Church members of African descent. Darius and his wife, Leslee, live in Salt Lake City with their son, Darius Aidan Gray II.

Batchlor Johnson IV

Batchlor Johnson IV has a master’s degree in mass communications from BYU and a bachelors degree in economics from the University of Utah. Batchlor was raised in Houston, Texas, in a family of five. He has a strong love for his Savior and tries to live every day to the fullest because of it.

Jennete

Jennete has several passions in her life. Her Love for her Savior, her family, animals and the New York Yankees. She loves plants and flowers and can often be found outside working in her many flowerbeds. Jennete has many hobbies including shopping and interior design. She even has a deep love for music despite her inability to sing or play any type of musical instrument. Jennete is the mother of 5 girls and is currently serving as the 1st counselor in her ward relief society presidency.

Kimberly Applewhite Teitter

Kimberly Applewhite Teitter, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist, a published author, an adjunct professor, and an entrepreneur in the Salt Lake City area. She is also a wife and a mother to two daughters and is the director of the Debra Bonner Unity Gospel Choir in Utah.

Jenna Alton

Jenna Alton is a freelance writer and editor who lives in Utah County with her family. She graduated summa cum laude from Brigham Young University, where she studied journalism. But her proudest accomplishment is being a mother to her two young children. If you need her, you can probably find her in the mountains or at a thrift store.

Kirsten Ward

Kirsten and Greg met at their babysitter's wedding when they were six. Kirsten knew she would marry Greg one day and waited 11 years for Greg to ask her on a date. Both Greg and Kirsten grew up in Los Altos, CA. They raised their daughter Rebekka in the Seattle area. And moved to Cottonwood Heights, UT when Bekka graduated from University and found the man of her dreams in Utah. Although Kirsten always wanted to grow up to play pro football, she graduated from BYU and went into global business development for high tech firms and currently works for Microsoft in global business advisory. She serves as a Relief Society teacher in her ward. And loves spending time with her family sailing small boats through transparent blue waters in tropical destinations around the world.
