Myrna Clark is a passionate individual. She loves attempting to make cakes from scratch; she loves her kids, and grandkids; she loves spending time with her extended family; and she loves going to the temple and doing family history. Her favorite foods include butter with crackers, mud bowls that are more of liquid than solid, and pretty much anything her husband, Dustin, makes her. In her free time you may catch her watching Lord of the Rings over and over again. She loves the gospel of Jesus Christ and is thankful for the comfort, hope, and guidance it has been for her.
Ashli Carnicelli is a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from her Catholic upbringing in Boston. Ashli enjoys writing and sharing her testimony of Christ. She and her husband, Tony, are the parents of four daughters and reside in Charleston, South Carolina.
Brent and his wife Sharon Kaye have four daughters and Jacob, the youngest. Brent has lived eight years overseas including Germany, Japan, and Brazil where he served a full-time mission. He holds a BA in International Relations and Portuguese from BYU and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin. Jacob is a junior at BYU where he studies statistical science among other things and enjoys playing jazz with his trombone. His paper, “The Two Atonements” was recently accepted for presentation at the BYU Religious Education Student Symposium in February 2023.
Dr. Ofa Hafoka Kanuch is of Tongan heritage, born and raised in Hawaii. She is a licensed psychologist at Brigham Young University where she meets with students for individual therapy, teaches classes on Positive Living and Performance Psychology, and is involved in research on racial minorities and mental health. She also has a small private practice. Her clinical work is geared toward individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, and racial minority stress. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Tuni.
Courtnie is married to her best friend, Taylor. Together, they have 5 children and a cute mini goldendoodle. Courtnie loves warm beaches, chocolate covered cinnamon bears, opening and closing down the parks at Disneyland, traveling, musicals, babies, and baking cakes. She graduated from BYU with a BFA in Music Dance Theater and has been teaching voice lessons ever since. She also loves teaching fitness classes at local gyms and feels at peace when her house is clean. Although she spends many hours in the car driving her kids to their activities, she loves watching them do what they love. One of the greatest joys in Courtnie’s life has been watching her kids’ testimonies develop and grow.
